One of the many hurdles mothers face is losing weight after pregnancy. With my first daughter it was wonderful. I lost my baby weight plus an additional 30lbs! I was in heaven! Now the second baby, different story. So far I have only lost my baby weight plus an additional 15lbs and am desperately working for more.
In most homes colds are just an everyday thing you deal with and get over, especially with small children around. In our house though, it is a different story. A cold means many sleepless nights and many days of suffering for Maddie. I am happy to report that the Dr. said it is something most people grow out of and that someday she may just “get a cold” and be fine.

Surely, before you had kids you heard people say that being a mom is and will be the hardest job you will ever do. After you became a mom you quickly realized they were right. It cannot be compared to any full-time job, even one with over-time, because as a mom you literally are never relieved of your duty; there is no time card to swipe out.
